Here in the Enchanted Hills, I understand that not everyone will be friends on an Out of Character level. With that said, I do not expect anyone to even disclose their first name. As a matter of fact I usually prefer to leave my personal life out of all interactions with players. There are several ground rules that are set here in the Enchanted Hills that I enforce. They are as follows;

Out of Character

Players should always be respectful to one another, even when disagreements arise. Regardless of Out of Character feelings between players, one should not remove a character from a scene just to avoid another player. While you do not have to interact with one another one on one, this is a continual world. You must play out public interactions as you normally would.

You will not cross role-play, also known as meta-gaming. Knowledge that is out of character will not be taken in character. Furthermore, information, items, currency, etc. cannot be traded between alternate characters without extremely solid reasoning and active play to support it.

Everyone gossips, if it reaches the Game Master, be prepared to be confronted about it.

You will never be forced to perform anything in character based on out of character requests or demands, game rules aside.

The Game Master has the first and final say on all matters. By agreeing to the terms of the Enchanted Hills, you acknowledge respect to the game master and his selected game assistants.

In Character

Restrictions exist in order to maintain balance and to enforce a specific feel to the game environment. In general, players have a very large degree of freedom with character design, however some components of the game must be earned through the correct process, or may be inhibited due to various plot devices relating to the over-arching story of the Enchanted Hills. Please always keep in mind that limitations have a reason behind them, and are seldom arbitrary or intended to simply stifle creativity.

Leveling

Everyone begins at Level 1. The Enchanted Hills takes character progression and loyalty very seriously; Someone who is high level has rightfully earned it, and that is a respected trait. You are welcome to bring characters from other games into the Enchanted Hills; But they will be subject to the same restrictions as everyone else.

Movement

Flight is not an accepted character trait without the appropriate abilities. Because many game elements happen in relationship to where characters are positioned, movement elements such as flight, teleportation, and the like are exceptionally powerful and considered to be extremely high level capabilities.

Transformation, telepathy, and psychic linking of sorts are also very high-level traits. Even for ambient concerns, someone who is new to the sensation of the aura would not be able to perform such things. An attempt to do so could end disasterously.

Magic

Magic is extremely powerful, and very volatile. It is everywhere within the Enchanted Hills, however no character, regardless of race, origin, lore, or experience, is infallable in the arts of the arcane.

Like any game, powers of this scale must be earned. While ambient magic does exist within the game, traditional use of spells must be obtained by 'learning' an appropriate ability and electing the proper feat.

Aura

Technology breaks apart within the aura of the Enchanted Hills; Anything that is not made by hand will dissolve. This includes electronic devices, designer clothing and accessories, watches, guns, and even some glasses.

The game has an evolving and active economy, and your character's possessions are important items. While many aspects of the game can be flavored in limitless ways, you must still 'purchase' a weapon to gain a statistically acknowledged benefit from it, etc.
