Levels

Levels demonstrate character progress, tenure, experience, and capability. Most every 'character' in the Enchanted Hills has a “level” of some sort, and this is what determines most of the encompassing attributes relating to what it can and cannot do.

As you begin to play in the Enchanted Hills, there will occasionally be opportunities for events, battles, races, and other such activities. These almost always award Experience. Player vs. Player combat is one of the most popular, and frequent means of gaining experience. Please see the section on Combat for more details.

As experience is gained, a character will begin to Level Up. When this occurs, their basic vitals will increase.

Also, at Level 1, is granted a single talent, and a simple assortment of starting vitals. Generally, each character begins the game with the same setup, and then is adjusted if they fit within a racial template. Characters that do not fit a racial template will remain with the default allocation of statistics.

Frequently, the players will gather on scheduled days for events. Events are multiplayer sessions of play that are coordinated by a Dungeon Master. These also award experience. Role playing on the game message boards also grants experience, provided the content has substantial weight. Recruiting grants experience, as well, in addition to counting towards Medals, which are discussed later. Please see the section on Activities.
