Trolls are enormous, lumbering and stupid creatures of greenskin heritage. Tall
and lanky, they are slow learners but fierce adversaries on the field of battle.
Renown for their regenerative qualities, a Troll is one of the most difficult creatures
to kill.
Trolls have thick skin, and begin the game with the Toughness talent innately, granting +3 Health .
Once per combat the Troll may select to use an Acid Vomit attack. This attack adds
up every dice side the Troll as acquired, into a single large roll. This attack
is acid damage, which scalds the skin and chews at armor.
A troll is virtually impossible to kill. If a Troll is reduced to a death state,
it is still considered dead however in time its remains will slowly begin to pull
itselt together. Each day after the death of a Troll, the troll will regenerate
1 HP (4 AM every morning). If a Troll’s remains are burned, they will not regenerate
and the troll will die. In addition to this, if a troll is killed with fire damage
it will also not be able to regenerate on its own. Trolls may however be resurrected.
Trolls recover hit points at an alarming rate whenever they suffer a wound. At Level 1
the troll regenerates 1 Health every combat round on its turn. At level
10 this increases to 2. At level 20 this is increased to three, all the way up to
level 100 where is increases to 11 Health Regeneration recovered per combat round. This also works
outside of combat, and may be improved with talents.
A Troll rolls action dice twice for all checks made to perform a perceptive or intelligent
action and selects the lower of the two, to represent Ignorance .
A troll rolls action dice twice for all checks made to perform physical actions
and selects the higher of the two, to represent Strength .
Trolls count as Greenskin for the sake of requirements and classification.
Like Greenskin, The Trolls are part of a trifecta rivalry with the D'arwa and
the E'llalin . Though this is not expressively a 'hatred', it is
a grude-like competition that grants them two bonus abilities.
Rivalry (E'llalin) and Rivalry (D'arwa) allows
an E'llalin to re-roll any melee attack made against one of the two listed races.
This must be stated clearly (out of character) and it may be used an infinite number
of times per battle, however it may only be used once per attack. This ability may
only be used on the initial attack and does not apply to reactions like Parry
or Riposte .
You must take the second roll no matter what. You may always choose
when to use this ability or not, it is never imposed.
Trolls, Lycanthropes, and Slyth have the innate property Teeth, Nails, and Claws
and may, from Level 1 onward, attack with their full combat dice even if they do
not have a weapon or the talent Improved Unarmed Combat . This attack,
however, is considered lethal in all situations.
If you take the talent Improved Unarmed Combat , you may deliver
non-lethal blows at your own option.
