The Enchanted Hills is a territory that had been abandoned and neglected, the prized land of a brave few adventurers to settle it in 2008. It is unknown exactly why, but within the lands borders, technology decays and falls victim to the rapidity of time in the worst possible sense. Attempts to bring in new tools, new technology, and artifacts from beyond the borders have proven fruitless. The convention of modern science was worthless unless employed within its frontier. Only items crafted by hand within this strange place persist beyond the sunset.

No manner of man, regardless of achievement or stature, can circumvent this decay. Standing outside of time like a beacon of the past, the Enchanted Hills remains an enigmatic mystery shrouded in wonder and suspicion. All forms of life, from all walks of time and culture, have gathered out of necessity, friendship, curiosity, and greed to create this ageless settlement. Stricken with a plague of its own foul beasts and pasts - the mystery of the Enchanted Hills remains a gate that will be opened by all who dare its embrace.

The Hills was crafted with the intention of being different. As farfetched as it may sound, it is a place where modern characters and medieval characters can mingle and co exist because the genres aren't crossed. Modern characters live a lifestyle just as those who play more fantasy oriented characters.

Many guilds pop up these days, and it is more of the same- Little activity, you write a report once a week, and those who write well and are good with photo shop get promotions; drama and politics, and very little fun. I mean, am I right? Where is the fun in RhyDin anymore? The Hills offers a unique play style. In addition to the usual public play you are used to, weekly or bi-weekly we host an adventure ranging from adventurous to the truly epic, where interaction is key! Your characters shape and morph the world in which you live in, and the guild changes accordingly. Your adventures aren't pre-scripted movies where you are a train on rails unable to steer off in a different direction.

You are faced with a band of ghouls and you and your friends are ready to cut them to ribbons. But what if you decided to jump on your horses, ride away from the creepy mineshaft you were assigned to investigate and ride off to explore something else? I will be right there with you as you unravel your own tale.

Here is a great example- Have you ever just wanted to cause impressive trouble at an Innes or a tavern, because your character is scheming or downright evil? Ever get into a good play session with an antagonist that knows what they are doing, only to have super elite moderator "guards" / "knights" kick you out of a room, or remove you by forcing actions on you?

Not here. It’s rough out in the Hills. If guards show up to arrest a character, it is never set in stone. If you want to fight back you are free to fight back right then and there without being asked to take it to a private room- You will never be forced to do anything. The dice and the RP do all the talking. On more than one occasion the dashing rogue has wooed the women in a flashy array of acrobatic evasion, making total buffoonery of the games guards as witty insults were exchanged along with crossed blades.

The setting is not for the faint of heart I assure you, and while I will not restrict children from playing in our games I would advise that only mature gamers should apply. The Story itself is very impressive, full of passion, violence, emotion, lust, betrayal and anguish as well as great joys. I promise that if you give us a month, you may find out things you never knew about your characters, and find that even your dusty decade old char from way back when can learn a new trick or two. Death is possible in the Hills- Signing up you consent to all the dangers that entail. Do not be alarmed: If your character is killed and not brought back to life here, your character isn't considered dead elsewhere- We would never try to tell you that you are. Your characters injuries and death pertain only to our storyline here if that is what you want.

Our game uses a familiar dice and hit system, but "promotions" are based off of participation and an experience chart. You earn promotions and awards based on your activity- Sparring? You get EXP. Recruiting? You get EXP. Message Boards? You get experience. Weekly Events? You get EXP. Best of all? You never have to file a report - We update all of your EXP for you automatically, and can be viewed at any time.

Unlike many guilds out there, your currency also matters - Shops and stores will be opening where you can spend your characters hard earned gold pieces on everything from furniture and housing, to seeds and cultivation tools, to armor and weapons which improve your combat statistics.

Come check us out. We look forward to gaming with you and remember- If you aren't having fun, you aren't really RPing! So get out there, have a ball, and for gosh sakes roll some dice and imagine things!
